Starbucks Rewards earns Stars towards drinks and food. Scan your member code, pay with your miles card, and you get 1 Star for every S$2. That's on top of your card's miles.

Before you pay, open the app and let the barista scan your member QR code.
Then pay with your miles card.
Stars usually show within a day.
Mistakes that cost points
Paying with ShopBack Pay. Starbucks gives no Stars on ShopBack Pay, so it's one or the other, and milestack already counts that.
Scanning after you've paid. Stars can't be added later.
Topping up a Starbucks Card. Top-ups earn nothing; the Stars come when you spend from the card.
Airport and delivery orders. Changi Airport stores, except at Jewel, and most delivery apps don't earn. GrabFood does, if you link your account in Grab.
Some stores reward only Starbucks Card payments. The terms say so without naming them, so if a Star doesn't post, ask.
