What it does in your stack
Kris+ is Singapore Airlines' shopping app. Pay the shop inside Kris+ with Apple Pay or Google Pay and you earn KrisFlyer miles from Kris+ on top of your card's miles. Some shops also sell Kris+ cash vouchers, sometimes at a discount, that you buy before you go.
Get the app
Download Kris+ by Singapore Airlines. Check the maker, so you get the real one.
Make sure your miles card is already in Apple Pay or Google Pay. Kris+ pays through them.
You need a KrisFlyer account. Already have one? Log in with your KrisFlyer number. If not, the app signs you up to KrisFlyer first.
Enter the one-time password it sends you.
Using a referral code is up to you. It goes in while you set up the app, after logging in with KrisFlyer, and you may not be able to add one later.
You can:
Use milestack's code.
Milestack's referral codeC222632You get 500 KrisPay miles (S$5 to spend in Kris+) after your first Kris+ payment of S$5 or more at a partner, with Apple Pay or Google Pay. These miles stay in Kris+ and last 6 months.
Milestack gets 500 KrisPay miles (S$5 to spend in Kris+) for each friend whose first Kris+ payment is S$5 or more, because it earns from this code. These miles stay in Kris+ and last 6 months.
Use a friend's code instead, if a friend uses Kris+. You get the same with theirs.
Skip it. Everything else in this guide works the same without a code.
Switch on auto-transfer now: Wallet > Transfer to KrisFlyer, then turn on auto-transfer. It only moves miles earned after you switch it on, so do it before your first payment.
At the counter
New to Kris+? Get the app and sign up first, above.
Paying in Kris+
Open Kris+, tap Pay and scan the shop's Kris+ QR code at the counter.
Key in the amount on your bill.
Pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay, using your miles card.
Using a Kris+ voucher
Before you go
Find the shop in Kris+ and buy its cash voucher with Apple Pay or Google Pay, using your miles card.
Read the voucher's rules before you buy. Haidilao's, for one, is for dining in, one per table, and lasts 3 months.
At the counter
At the counter, let the cashier scan the voucher's Kris+ QR code, and show them the success screen.
Bill bigger than the voucher? Pay the rest in Kris+ the same way, with your miles card.
Mistakes that cost miles
Tapping your card on the shop's terminal. That earns no Kris+ miles. Pay inside the app.
Not moving the miles to KrisFlyer within 21 days. After that they stay in Kris+, are worth much less and expire after 6 months. Auto-transfer takes care of it.
Spending some of a payment's miles in Kris+. The rest of those miles then can't move to KrisFlyer either.
A card that doesn't reward Kris+. UOB Visa Signature earns almost nothing here, and so does Citi Rewards on its own. Citi Rewards earns its bonus only linked through an Amaze card, less Amaze's 1% fee. Stick to the card milestack shows you.
Paying part of the bill with KrisPay miles. Only the part on your card earns card miles.
Losing track of a voucher. Unused value isn't refunded, and an expired voucher is gone.
