What it does in your stack
Before you go, buy the shop's e-voucher in heymax with your miles card. Your bank sees a department-store payment (MCC 5311), which several miles cards reward, and heymax adds its own Max Miles straight away. At the counter you just show the voucher.
Get the app
Download HeyMax: Stack Miles & Rewards. Check the maker, so you get the real one.
Open heymax and sign up. It's one account per person.
Using a referral code is up to you. It goes in at sign-up. If a code doesn't work, heymax's chat in the app can sort it out.
You can:
Use milestack's code.
Milestack's referral codeA7D7117EMilestack's referral linkhttps://heymax.go.link/jIq00?adj_label=A7D7117EYou get 200 Max Miles once you've verified your phone and made one approved purchase, such as a voucher bought with a card, within 180 days of signing up. It's only for people who've never had a heymax account.
Milestack gets 200 Max Miles for each friend who qualifies, and 500 each from the 11th, because it earns from this code.
Use a friend's code instead, if a friend uses heymax. You get the same with theirs.
Skip it. Everything else in this guide works the same without a code.
Verify your phone number. You need it to move miles out later, and for a referral bonus to count.
Add your miles card when you buy your first voucher. heymax only takes cards issued in Singapore.

Buying and using a heymax voucher
Before you go
In heymax, go to Earn Max Miles > Buy vouchers and find the shop.
Read the voucher's terms before you buy, and make sure it works in store at this shop, not just online.
Pay with your miles card. Your Max Miles show straight away.
Buy it at home, not at the till. heymax has daily limits on vouchers, and you may hit one.
At the counter
Open Profile > My vouchers and find the voucher. It's also on the screen you see right after buying.
Show it to the cashier. Some vouchers open on the shop's own page first, through the link beside "Redeem voucher".
Mistakes that cost miles
A voucher that only works online. heymax's public pages don't say which vouchers work in store, so check the voucher's own terms before you buy.
Paying for the voucher with Max Miles. Your card then earns nothing, and for a new user it doesn't count towards the referral bonus.
A card from outside Singapore. heymax turns it down.
A card that doesn't reward department stores. The voucher is charged as MCC 5311, and now and then as something else, so stick to the card milestack shows you.
Thinking 1 Max Mile is 1 KrisFlyer mile. There's no direct transfer. Through yuu it works out to about 0.83 KrisFlyer miles each.
Miles Booster. It's an optional add-on that costs 10% of the voucher price for extra Max Miles. milestack doesn't count it.
